We are Out of Network with all major insurance companies. This means that for all private treatments, you may receive reimbursement through your health insurance provider by submitting a Super Bill. You must pay for your appointment upfront, and if your coverage allows, you will receive reimbursement from your insurance company.

We are exclusively Out of Network, which gives us the flexibility to see patients with a wide variety of insurance plans. A number of health insurance plans in New York City cover acupuncture, including Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare (UHC), Oxford and more. Coverage varies from plan to plan, with different restrictions or deductibles for every plan. We provide super bills for all private acupuncture appointments, which patients can submit to their insurance for reimbursement.

SuperBills include medical coding to inform your insurance provider of the treatment you received, the reason for the treatment, and the total cost that you paid. We are happy to provide SuperBills at no additional cost and can be requested up to 10 months after your appointment date. SuperBills are self submitted by the patient, through the ronline insurance portal. Reimbursement is determined by your health insurance coverage.

Yes, patients can use FSA or HSA as a payment method. Most FSA and HSA accounts do not require a SuperBill, but we can provide one if needed. Please be sure to submit these requests within six months of your visit.
